Call to Action

ECCLPs and Change Narrative invite you to share your climate story, with the possibility of being featured in the ECCLPs Newsletter.

Your climate story can be shared in a variety of ways including (but not limited to) a written narrative, artwork, imagery, or poetry. We are now accepting climate stories from individuals who reside in California.

Climate change is now part of the human experience, and it is essential to center narratives that honor our lived experiences. Storytelling, now a widely recognized strategy in climate communications and for facilitating solutions, has the ability to connect the head and the heart on climate change which is essential for sparking and sustaining action.

Need a little inspiration to reflect on your story?

Here are a few prompts to get you started:

  1. Think about a time in your community that made you smile, and reflect on that memory. Use visual imagery to describe the setting, the people, and aspects of your community that make it unique.

  2. What is your experience of climate change? This could include direct impacts; wildfires, air quality, flooding, drought, heat, and extreme weather. Or how have you been thinking about climate change lately?

  3. What is the vibrant and bright future you imagine is possible?
